BMW M-Model Sales Up More than 50% in the first 11 months of the year 2008!

Crisis? What crisis? While most car manufacturers around the world are seeing their sales decline in the year 2008, BMW M-Division is growing in a difficult economic environment because it exceeds the equivalent figure the previous year during the first 11 months of 2008 by more than 50 percent! From January until November 2008, BMW has sold 22,340 F-model cars worldwide compared with 14,092 vehicles in the same period in 2007. In November 2008 alone some 1900 BMW M cars delivered worldwide. As long ago as August 2008 sales figures BMW M GmbH worldwide reached 16,150 units, bringing the total exceeds last year's figure of 16,128 units.
"The fact that our dealers are able to provide significantly more vehicles than the average of the last nine months while a dramatic even in the world economy shows and attractions that appeal of the BMW M cars practice on our customers," said Ludwig Willisch, President of BMW M GmbH.

A major contribution to the success of BMW M's escape in 2008 has introduced the all-new M3 is now available in three body variations (Coupe, Sedan and Convertible). High-performance sports cars sold nearly two times better in the first year of production from its predecessor model in the same period.

Currently, BMW M offers seven models that included the three body types M3, BMW M5 Sedan and Touring, and M6 Coupe and M6 Convertible.

Overall, sales of BMW brand in 2008 for the first 11 months of this year, declined 3.5% compared to same period in 2007 to 1,105,112 units.
